Ten Ways to Express Your Love
Step One: Buy Her Something Nice
Robin sat on the sofa in the living room. It was awfully late and extremely cold. None of the Titans had come to visit him, not even Cyborg. He didn't care really. He was busy examining a book in his lap that he had purchased the other day. He wanted to read it at night because he was afraid the others would make fun of him.
As he flipped through the book, he saw a large heading that caught his interest. Ten Ways to Express Your Love by Johnathan Snap.
Robin looked at the page then started reading it:
Every man wants to win the woman of his dreams--in ten simple ways, you can get her.
1. Buy something nice for her.
Woman always love things that people get for them, and what better way to show them you care by getting her a little trinket?
Robin smiled. "I can finally tell Starfire how I really feel about her," he closed the book, but before he could even walk out the room, Starfire walked in.
"Robin, why are you awake?" she asked.
"Oh, um...I..uh...well...uhm...couldn't sleep. So I decided to read."
"And what were you reading?" Starfire asked again, growing impatient.
"Um...just a murder mystery."
"Well, I heard voices in here, and I thought it would be an 'in-troo-der,' is that how you say it?"
"Yes. Well, good night, Star."
"Good night friend Robin."
....
Robin woke up early the next morning. The jewelry store was opening just now, and he wanted to get there before everybody else woke up.
By the time he got their, he saw the perfect thing. It was a silver necklace with an emerald and periodt (A/N: I'm lazy to see the real spelling.) He thought they matched Starfire's eyes greatly.
"Excuse me, ma'am, but how much is that necklace in the window?" he asked the clerk.
"$200. Why?"
"Well, I would like to purchase it for a girl I know," Robin said. He handed his $200 and took the necklace with him.
....
When he got back to Titans' Tower, he placed it in a silver box and wrapped it carefully. He wrote "To: Starfire, From: Robin." He placed it by Starfire's door, hoping she would find it.
....
"Friend Robin...?" Starfire came into the living room at about noon.
Robin perked up. Had Starfire found the necklace?
"Yeah?"
"Thank you for this gift," Starfire began, "but I already have one."
Robin's grin turned into a frown. "W-W-What? But how?"
"Well, before I left for Tamaran, Galfore gave me something like it. Then the lighter green jewel broke and I replaced it with this one. But thank you anyways, friend Robin!" she gave him a small hug and left.
Robin stared the door. "She. Already. Has. One?!" his eye twitched.
....
Well, things don't look too good with Robin. Oh well. Review pls!
