If you yourself don't want to pursue a relationship, I suggest being yourself until a guy happens along who is:
1) a genuinely nice guy and
2) crazy enough about you to try and spend time with you whenever he can
On a side note, if a guy is being slightly awkward or seems shy around you, don't mistake that for not liking you, it usually means they really don't want to mess anything up, but it usually messes things up for such guys, so cut him some slack.
So don't "throw in the towel" so much as "spread it out so you can sun yourself on it" in case you do need it again.

I don't think that you should give up on dating! There could always be somebody out there that is meant to be with you and you could miss them if you give up forever! So stay positive! :]]

For those of you who haven't seen this topic already I'm debating over whether I should give love another try. 1) I'm more os a solitry sort of person. 2) I'm a musician so I can be caught playing piano or guitar almost all the time. 3) Every girl I've been with has either: cheated, lost interest or was an outright bloody bitch. So therein lies the dilemna mates. Please advise, thank you. ^_^

"I am the Walrus" is a song written by John Lennon of the band, "The Beatles." Everyone always referred to John as the walrus because of it. I was making a nod to John Lennon to see if anyone would get it. The proper response of course would be, "I am the eggman, goo goo gjoob."

Never give up on dating. Every relationship has its up and downs but if you give up now you'll most likely regret it and feel terribly lonely for probably the rest of your life.
